In Friday's league game, the River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) football team were victorious over the visiting Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), by a tally of 31-3.

In their next game, the Panthers face the United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United] (Nanty Glo, PA) in a Heritage game, on Friday, September 26. River Valley will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The come into the outing with a 3-2 record after their 49-0 league win over Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA).

With the defeat, Homer-Center drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Purchase Line (Commodore, PA) to clash with the Red Dragons in a Heritage outing on Friday, September 26.
