Pennsylvania High School Football - Marion Center loses to River Valley

October 17, 2025: Marion Center, PA 15759

River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), 35-7 in a league battle.

With the win, River Valley advances its record to 8-1 on the season. The Panthers host Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA) to play the Colts in a Heritage battle on Friday, October 24. The Colts go into the battle with a record of 4-5. Northern Cambria lost 49-35 in their recent league battle against Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA)

The Stingers now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Penns Manor for a Heritage battle on Friday, October 24. Marion Center will confront a Comets squad coming off a 44-14 league loss to United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United] (Nanty Glo, PA). The Comets record now stands at 3-6.
