The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the West Branch Warriors (Beloit, OH) and the visiting Howland Tigers (Warren, OH), witnessed West Branch's football squad wallop Howland by a count of 48-7.

The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Minerva (Minerva, OH). The Lions enter the Eastern Buckeye contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Minerva crushed Aquinas (Louisville, OH), 31-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the East (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 26. Howland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 21-0 non-league win over Shaw (East Cleveland, OH).
