The Laurel Spartans football squad scored 37 points and limited the host Northwestern Wildcats to 0 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Suitland Rams (Forestville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 26. Laurel will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 21-18 non-league loss to Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD).
