September 19, 2025: Ottumwa, IA 52501 The Ottumwa Bulldogs got by the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters football team by a score of 21-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA) in a 5A Group 1 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Ottumwa will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 45-14 non-league loss to Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA).
The Railsplitters (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA). The Stars go into the 5A Group 4 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Sioux City North was edged by Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA), 35-20, in a non-league challenge.
