In Friday's league match, the host Northeastern Jets football squad scored a decisive 60-18 triumph over the Madison Plains Golden Eagles.

The Jets (5-0) will now prepare for their match against West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH). The Roughriders come into the Ohio Heritage match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, West Jefferson routed Catholic Central (Springfield, OH), 41-7, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Golden Eagles confront the Catholic Central Irish (Springfield, OH) in a Ohio Heritage match, on Friday, September 26. Madison Plains will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Irish come into the match with a 3-2 record after their 41-7 non-league loss to West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH).
