Ohio High School Football - Northeastern tops Mechanicsburg

October 17, 2025: Mechanicsburg, OH 43044

The Northeastern Jets football squad scored 52 points and limited the host Mechanicsburg Indians to 26 in the Jets league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Jets face the Triad Cardinals (North Lewisburg, OH) in a Ohio Heritage challenge, on Friday, October 24. Northeastern will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 64-12 league loss to Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH).

The Indians (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH). The Tigers go into the Ohio Heritage challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, West Liberty-Salem lost by West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH), 20-7, in a league challenge.
