The crowd at Friday's league contest between the West Jefferson Roughriders (West Jefferson, OH) and the visiting Northeastern Jets (Springfield, OH), witnessed West Jefferson's football team nip Northeastern by a final score of 42-36.

With the win, West Jefferson advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Triad (North Lewisburg, OH) to encounter the Cardinals in a Ohio Heritage bout on Friday, October 3. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Triad lost 62-0 in their recent league match against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH)

Coming up next, the Jets confront the West Liberty-Salem Tigers (West Liberty, OH) in a Ohio Heritage match, on Friday, October 3. Northeastern will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 42-0 league win over Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH).
