California High School Football - McLane tops Sunnyside

September 19, 2025: Fresno, CA 93727

The McLane Highlanders football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Sunnyside Wildcats to 14 in the Highlanders league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fresno for a North Yosemite test on Friday, September 26. McLane will face a Warriors team coming off a 40-13 league loss to Torres (Madera, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.

The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Madera South (Madera, CA). The Stallions enter the North Yosemite challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Madera South lost by Hoover (Fresno, CA), 51-20, in a league challenge.
