The McLane Highlanders football team scored 42 points and held the host Fresno Warriors to 0 in the Highlanders league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Highlanders face the Torres Toros (Madera, CA) in a North Yosemite challenge, on Friday, October 3. McLane will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Toros enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 46-14 league loss to Roosevelt (Fresno, CA).

The Warriors (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoover (Fresno, CA). The Patriots enter the North Yosemite challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Hoover was ripped by Sanger West (Fresno, CA), 49-21, in a league challenge.
