The Messalonskee Eagles football squad scored 33 points and limited the visiting Skowhegan River Hawks to 27 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fryeburg for a B North test on Friday, September 26. Messalonskee will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 21-13 non-league win over Laconia (Laconia, NH). The Raiders record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Skowhegan drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The River hawks host Biddeford (Biddeford, ME) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-3. Biddeford lost 55-21 in their recent league challenge against Westbrook (Westbrook, ME)
