September 19, 2025: Montezuma, IA 50171 The Montezuma Braves walloped the visiting Moravia Mohawks football team by a score of 48-6 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Braves play the Southeast Warren Warhawks (Liberty Center, IA) in a 8-Man District 7 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, September 26. Montezuma will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Warhawks go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 73-6 non-league win over Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA).
With the defeat, Moravia drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Mohawks host Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA) to meet the Saints in a 8-Man District 7 (8 Man) test on Friday, September 26.
