The Tomahawk Hatchets walloped the host Rhinelander Hodags football team by a score of 49-7 in Friday's league test.

The Hatchets now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mosinee for a Great Northern test on Friday, September 26. Tomahawk will meet a Indians squad coming off a 35-7 league win over Wausau East (Wausau, WI). The Indians record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Rhinelander drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hodags host Antigo (Antigo, WI) to meet the Red Robins in a Great Northern test on Friday, September 26. The Red Robins come into the test with a record of 1-4. Antigo lost 35-0 in their recent league test against Merrill (Merrill, WI)
