The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA) and the visiting San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA), witnessed Palo Alto's football squad wallop San Mateo by a tally of 36-0.

The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

Coming up next, the Bearcats battle the Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 26. San Mateo will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 27-13 non-league loss to California (San Ramon, CA).
