Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football squad topple the host San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA), 31-6 in a non-league match.

The Bears (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Menlo School (Atherton, CA). The Knights enter the match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Menlo School was beaten by Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA), 20-7, in a non-league match.
