Sweet Home Panthers (Amherst, NY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Panthers (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY). The Flames go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Williamsville East got by Frontier (Hamburg, NY), 4-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Crusaders confront the Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 25. Canisius will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record.
