In Friday's league match, the Melissa Cardinals (Melissa, TX) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Anna Coyotes (Anna, TX), by a final score of 3-0.

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 match, on Tuesday, September 23. Melissa will attempt to advance on its 16-12 season record.
