The New Braunfels Unicorns volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Boerne-Champion Chargers to 1 in the Unicorns league triumph on Friday.

The Unicorns now have a 32-5 record. They play next when they host Alamo Heights for a 5A Region IV District 26 game on Tuesday, September 23. New Braunfels will confront a Mules squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pieper (San Antonio, TX). The Mules record now stands at 12-16.

The Chargers (19-5) will now prepare for their game against Wagner (San Antonio, TX). The Thunderbirds go into the 5A Region IV District 26 game with a 1-21 record. In their last game, Wagner went down by Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX), 3-0, in a league outing.
