In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Chatsworth Chancellors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Cerritos Dons.

The Chancellors (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, Kennedy edged Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Dons face the Oxford Academy Patriots (Cypress, CA) in a 605 test, on Friday, September 19. Cerritos will attempt to advance on its 12-1 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 10-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Artesia (Lakewood, CA).
