The Gilmer Buckeyes volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Cumberland Academy Knights to 0 in the Buckeyes league triumph on Friday.

The Buckeyes now possess a 13-12 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Hill for a 4A Region II District 16 outing on Tuesday, September 23. Gilmer will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Kilgore (Kilgore, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 26-6.
