The Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 25-7 record. They play next when they host Cypress Woods for a 6A Region II District 16 bout on Tuesday, September 23. Cypress Ranch will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 26-5.

With the loss, Cypress Lakes drops to 10-23 on the campaign. The Spartans host Bridgeland (Cypress, TX) to battle the Bears in a 6A Region II District 16 match on Tuesday, September 23.
