September 19, 2025: Spring Valley, CA 91977 Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Olympian advances its record to 11-11 on the season. The Eagles travel to Clairemont (San Diego, CA) to play the Chieftains in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a record of 12-12. Clairemont lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA)
Next, the Monarchs play the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) in a Grossmont Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Monte Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Foothillers come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to El Capitan (Lakeside, CA).
