September 19, 2025: Mohave Valley, AZ 86440 Somerton Toros (Somerton, AZ) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host River Valley Dust Devils (Mohave Valley, AZ), 3-1 in a league test.
With the win, Somerton advances its record to 4-6 on the season. The Toros host Yuma (Yuma, AZ) to face the Criminals in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Criminals go into the test with a record of 2-3. Yuma lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ)
The Dust Devils now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland Prep for a 3A - West outing on Monday, September 22. River Valley will play a Honey Badgers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ). The Honey Badgers record now stands at 2-3.
