The Andrews Wildcats topped the host Swain County Maroon Devils volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Wildcats now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cherokee for a Smoky Mountain 1A test on Tuesday, September 7. Andrews will confront a Braves team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Braves record now stands at 3-4.

The Maroon Devils (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Yellowjackets enter the Smoky Mountain 1A test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Hayesville was knocked off by Murphy (Murphy, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
