Union Bears (Appalachia, VA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA), 42-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Union improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to J.I. Burton (Norton, VA) to battle the Black Raiders in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Black Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-1. J.I. Burton won 26-7 in their recent non-league test against Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA)

With the loss, Richlands drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Blue tornado travel to Graham (Bluefield, VA) to battle the G-Men in a Southwest test on Friday, September 9. The G-Men come into the test with a record of 2-0. Graham won 38-8 in their recent league test against Tazewell (Tazewell, VA)
