The Overton Mustangs topped the visiting King's Academy Knights volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shelbyville for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 6. Overton will confront a Dragons team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Hemphill (Hemphill, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 3-20.

The Knights (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Cumberland Academy gained a win over Winona (Winona, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
