Oklahoma High School Softball - Alva bounces Blackwell
September 2, 2023: Blackwell, OK 74631 The Alva Goldbugs (Alva, OK) softball routed the host Blackwell Maroons (Blackwell, OK), 11-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Goldbugs (12-8) will now prepare for their bout against Woodward (Woodward, OK). The Boomers go into the non-league bout with a 15-10 record. In their last bout, Woodward toppled Mount St. Mary (Oklahoma City, OK), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
The Maroons now possess a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Newkirk for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. Blackwell will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 24-0 league loss to Perry (Perry, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 13-14.
