September 2, 2023: Edgewood, KY 41017 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Dixie Heights Colonels volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Boone County Rebels.
The Colonels (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY). The Thoroughbreds come into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Newport Central Catholic lost by Holy Cross (Covington, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Rebels clash with the Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 2. Boone County will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record. The Bluebirds come into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Simon Kenton (Independence, KY).
