In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting River Bluff Gators volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the James Island Trojans.

The Gators (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Palmetto Christian Academy lost by Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 2. James Island will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record.
