St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA) followers went home pleased Tuesday as they saw their flag football team nip the visiting Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA), 6-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, St. Francis advances its record to 9-0 on the season. The Troubadours host Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA) to confront the Lancers in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 3. The Lancers come into the match with a record of 1-8. Cordova lost 57-15 in their recent non-league match against Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA)

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Christian Brothers Falcons (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 4. Pleasant Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
