With the win, Princeton improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 4. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 5-2. Goldsboro won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against James Kenan (Warsaw, NC)
Next, the Gators battle the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 3. Spring Creek will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Rebels go into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Union (Rose Hill, NC).
