Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Porter Ridge advances its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Pirates host Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 3-1. Ballantyne Ridge won 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Richmond Senior (Rockingham, NC)

The Yellow Jackets now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monroe for a Rocky River 4A/5A test on Monday, September 8. Forest Hills will clash with a Redhawks team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Redhawks record now stands at 3-4.
