Illinois High School Soccer - Illinois Lutheran toppled by Momence
September 2, 2025: Momence, IL 60954 Momence Momence Athletics (Momence, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Illinois Lutheran Chargers (Crete, IL), 9-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Momence moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Momence Athletics travel to Coal City (Coal City, IL) to play the Coalers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 3. The Coalers come into the game with a record of 4-0. Coal City won 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Peotone (Peotone, IL)
The Chargers (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Beecher (Beecher, IL). The Bobcats come into the River Valley game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Beecher defeated St. Anne (St. Anne, IL), 8-1, in a league game.
