Colorado High School Soccer - Roosevelt knocks off Sterling
September 2, 2025: Johnstown, CO 80534 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Roosevelt Roughriders (Johnstown, CO) and the visiting Sterling Tigers (Sterling, CO), saw Roosevelt's soccer squad knock off Sterling by a count of 6-3.
The Roughriders (1-2) will now prepare for their match against The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO). The Titans come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, The Classical Academy by Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO), 1-0, in a non-league match.
The Tigers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elizabeth for a non-league match on Thursday, September 4. Sterling will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Ellicott (Calhan, CO). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-1.
