Georgia High School Softball - Northeast bounces Central
September 2, 2025: Macon, GA 31211 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Northeast Raiders (Macon, GA) and the visiting Central Hawks (Talbotton, GA), observed Northeast's softball team prevail over Central by a tally of 15-0.
The Raiders (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Dodge County (Eastman, GA). The Indians go into the 1A D-I Region 2 contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Dodge County thwarted Jefferson County (Louisville, GA), 18-3, in a league contest.
The Hawks now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Windsor Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 3. Central will face a Knights squad coming off a 13-4 non-league loss to Gatewood (Eatonton, GA). The Knights record now stands at 1-3.
