International Community Comets (Winter Park, FL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Altamonte Christian Eagles (Altamonte Springs, FL), 2-0 in a league test.

The Comets (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against The Master's Academy (Oviedo, FL). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, The Master's Academy was beaten by Trinity Prep (Winter Park, FL), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Geneva Knights (Casselberry, FL) in a 1A District 6 challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Altamonte Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 8-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Forest Lake Academy (Apopka, FL).
