Iowa High School Volleyball - Atlantic overwhelmed by Red Oak
September 2, 2025: Atlantic, IA 50022 Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Red Oak improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Tigers host Unity Christian (Orange City, IA) to face the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Knights go into the test with a record of 5-2. Unity Christian won 2-0 in their recent league test against Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA)
The Trojans now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis Central for a Hawkeye Ten test on Tuesday, September 9. Atlantic will face a Titans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA). The Titans record now stands at 4-3.
