September 2, 2025: Lawrenceville, GA 30045 Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cedar Shoals improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA) to meet the Falcons in a 4A Area 8 challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Flowery Branch won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Clarke Central (Athens, GA)
Next, the Black Knights meet the Dacula Falcons (Dacula, GA) in a 6A Area 8 test, on Thursday, September 4. Central Gwinnett will attempt to advance on its 0-10 season record. The Falcons go into the test with a 7-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Grayson (Loganville, GA).
