With the win, Crow Creek moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Chieftains travel to Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD) to meet the Braves in a A Region 6 contest on Friday, September 5. The Braves enter the contest with a record of 0-1. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD)
Next, the Cowboys meet the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 4. Colome will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Black Panthers go into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Todd County (Mission, SD).
