In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Freer Buckaroos volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Cotulla Cowboys.

The Buckaroos (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hebbronville (Hebbronville, TX). The Longhorns go into the non-league test with a 18-2 record. In their last test, Hebbronville achieved victory over King (Kingsville, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Cowboys now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crystal City for a 3A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, September 9.
