Florida High School Volleyball - Destin over Walton

September 2, 2025: Destin, FL 32541

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Destin Sharks (Destin, FL) and the visiting Walton Braves (DeFuniak Springs, FL), observed Destin's volleyball team top Walton by a tally of 3-0.

The Sharks (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rocky Bayou Christian (Niceville, FL). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Rocky Bayou Christian achieved victory over L.E.A.D. Academy (Pace, FL), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Braves now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freeport for a 3A District 1 test on Thursday, September 4. Walton will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Rutherford (Panama City, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
