The Mount Pleasant Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Central Academy of Technology & Arts for a Rocky River 4A/5A outing on Thursday, September 4. Mount Pleasant will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Forest Hills drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to play the Colts in a Rocky River 4A/5A outing on Thursday, September 4.
