In Tuesday's non-league match, the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA), by a margin of 3-2.

The Rockets now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Williamsburg for a bout on Thursday, September 4. Southern Huntingdon County will clash with a Blue Pirates team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA). The Blue Pirates record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Glendale falls to 2-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Homer-Center (Homer City, PA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 3. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 1-3. Homer-Center won 3-2 in their recent league contest against Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA)
