Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA) and the host Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA), observed Southern Huntingdon County's volleyball team top Mount Union by a count of 3-1.

The Rockets (17-3) will now prepare for their contest against Tussey Mountain (Saxton, PA). The Titans enter the Inter-County - East contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Tussey Mountain was knocked off by Everett (Everett, PA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Trojans battle the Williamsburg Blue Pirates (Williamsburg, PA) in a Inter-County - East contest, on Thursday, October 9. Mount Union will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Blue Pirates enter the contest with a 6-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA).
