September 2, 2025: Ponchatoula, LA 70454 St. Scholastica Doves (Covington, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Scholastica upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Doves host Central (Baton Rouge, LA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Central won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Walker (Walker, LA)
Next, the Green Wave meet the Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Ponchatoula will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA).
