North Carolina High School Volleyball - Brevard edged by R-S Central

September 20, 2021: Rutherfordton, NC 28139

The R-S Central Hilltoppers held off the visiting Brevard Blue Devils volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's league test.

The Hilltoppers now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chase for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A test on Tuesday, September 21. R-S Central will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 5-9.

The Blue Devils (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Polk County (Columbus, NC). The Wolverines enter the Mountain Foothills Seven 2A test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Polk County held off East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.
