South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC), 8-3 in a league challenge.

Next, the Sabres confront the Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC) in a So Meck 4A challenge, on Thursday, September 22. South Mecklenburg will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Cardinal enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 9-0 league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC).

With the loss, Palisades drops to 2-6 on the season. The Pumas travel to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Knights in a So Meck 4A test on Thursday, September 22. The Knights come into the test with a record of 6-3. Ardrey Kell won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Watauga (Boone, NC)
