September 20, 2022: Bluefield, WV 24701 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) and the host Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV), saw PikeView's volleyball squad nip Bluefield by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, PikeView upgrades its record to 2-11 on the year. The Panthers host Nicholas County (Summersville, WV) to play the Grizzlies in a Mountain State bout on Thursday, September 22. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Nicholas County won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Midland Trail (Hico, WV)
The Beavers now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 22. Bluefield will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 11-6.
