Illinois High School Volleyball - Brown County Mendon Unity

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Mendon Unity Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Brown County Hornets.

The Mustangs (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against West Prairie (Sciota, IL). The Cyclones come into the non-league battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, West Prairie lost by Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL), 2-0, in a non-league match.

With the loss, Brown County drops to 8-6 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Carrollton (Carrollton, IL) to battle the Hawks in a Western Illinois Valley match on Thursday, September 22. The Hawks come into the match with a record of 8-6. Carrollton lost 2-0 in their recent league match against West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] (Winchester, IL)
