Texas High School Volleyball - Sinton edged by Calhoun
September 20, 2022: Port Lavaca, TX 77979 The Calhoun Sandcrabs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Sinton Pirates to 2 in the Sandcrabs league victory on Tuesday.
The Sandcrabs now have a 25-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jones for a 4A Region IV District 30 game on Friday, September 23. Calhoun will meet a Trojans team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 13-13.
The Pirates (18-12) will now prepare for their game against Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX). The Pirates enter the 4A Region IV District 30 game with a 21-6 record. In their last game, Rockport-Fulton held off West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX), 3-1, in a league game.
